We know how challenging living with cancer can be, and the WVU Cancer Institute provides a variety of support services for cancer patients, caregivers, and medical professionals through the Living Beyond Cancer program.
A free, online support group is available on Facebook, and the private group provides a connection with peers and information for people who are currently receiving or completed cancer treatment, along with their caregivers.
To keep you informed about innovations in treatment, research, and coping with cancer, our Living Beyond Cancer podcast features discussions with WVU Cancer Institute providers about relevant topics for patients, cancer survivors, those living with cancer, and medical professionals.
Our Living Beyond Cancer professional web course offers the most up-to-date information on caring for patients who have completed cancer treatment in a primary care setting. With four 20-minute modules, this free web course helps medical professionals learn more about breast, lung, and colorectal cancer survivorship.
Funding for the Living Beyond Cancer Program is provided by the WV Bureau for Public Health in partnership with Mountains of Hope.
